  1. Not the Royal Crescent? It will spoil everyone's photos of the half circle of houses, one of the finest sights of Bath. No mention of Victoria Park, used to be free.

  2. And I thought my £30 a year green bin fee was mind blowing. Just walk everywhere Tom - you know it is good for you. Incidentally I am still laughing at your comment on my post today.

    1. I can't walk to work and I need somewhere to park when I get back, but I do a lot of walking when I am there. I am glad I make you laugh Weave.

  3. Sticker shock! Is there no free parking in Bath?

    1. Neither did I. I only just made it to the end of your comment.

  5. How on earth do you remember this? Or do you simply carry the list with you wherever you go?

    1. I don't have to remember it because all those streets are in Zone C - central - and the sign posts have the letter C on them.

  6. Berlin is much cheaper - if you pay for the "inhabitants' area" (though that guarantees no free parking place, you have to have luck).
You need a lot of coins if you want to park elsewhere in the city. But we can go everywhere on tram, bus, underground. In Berlin you don't need a car (solely for transport).

    1. There is no guaranteed place here either and non-residents pay to park in the same spaces, but they also have to leave so there is usually a convenient space for me where I need it. They have phased-out the coin machines and you pay for the parking using your handi now.
