Your help needed

Blogger has just warned me that they have deleted my last post because it 'violated their community guidelines'.

I cannot even remember what it was, but I don't usually put out overtly offensive stuff so I am a bit mystified. They say that they had placed a warning to readers in front of it, then deleted it completely. They also say that if I want to re-post it I must take out the offensive material, but I cannot find a copy of it anywhere. I thought that the one with H.I. doing a handstand at the header was my last one. Maybe I got up in the middle of the night and posted one in my sleep?

Do you remember what my last post was? Come to that, which one of you complained about it???

  1. Dear Tom - given that I can't remember what I wrote about yesterday - I have no idea what your last post was - sorry. But I do hope you sort it out with Blogger - I couldn't bear to be without you. x

  2. I cannot see that any posts are missing. I have not been aware of you posting since you told us about the cataracts and nothing appears in my reading list as now not available.

    1. I think it was just Google's system going wonky.

  3. Perhaps you've been sleep-blogging? I haven't seen anything either, but my blog reading is spasmodic.

  4. I didn't spot anything either.

  5. I've seen nothing since your post about HI. If you did put something out, Blogger must have seen it before the rest of us and censored it. I now wonder what Blogger has for Community Guidelines?

    1. They are the usual things - violence, sex, hate speech, etc.

  6. Are you sure it was Blogger? weird things happen on the computer. I've got a Polish follower with a long complicated name or so I thought till Andrew translated the words but I am still rather wary of it.

    1. It was a glitch on the blogging system, I think.

  7. I get monthly warnings about one of my old posts apparently breaches the guidelines, but it's still visible. It seems to be simply that they object to the topic (I'll disguise it here in case comments can cause similar difficulties) which is cig.ar.ette machines.

  8. I loathe censorship, and don't recall seeing a recent post of yours that should be deleted or have a warning label. Oh thought police go away.

    1. Usually if they need to be deleted I don't publish them.

  9. I've seen nothing about a warning or noted any post in the least bit offensive. Last post I read was about HI and thought the photos of HI doing a handstand was marvelous.

  10. The last post of you which I I saw - and I almost ever look - was the one about H.I.'s cataract OP.
I don't understand why they are complaining??

  11. I never saw anything more recent than the cataract surgery. That is so odd.

  12. I didn't realise Blogger was anything more than a passive programme we just used. I had something similar happen with Pinterest. They took down an offending picture which had been there for years with many stern warnings but didn't actually reveal to me which it was - in the email it was thoughtfully pixilated to disguise it. I was mystified. They did a "review" and it did get put back after I objected but they never explained how what I later deduced was a fully-clothed painted portrait of Mata Hari violated the community guidelines. Capricious is all I can say.

  13. H.I. was the last post. Blogger is messing with you. Perhaps worse. I have no idea how to get to the bottom of it.

  14. Yes, the cataract post was the last I got from you Tom. Pity, I quite enjoy the odd "offensive" post.

  18. I know I m late but my entire blog was shut down by blogger because of a concern. I couldn't reach any person to find out what the issue was. Eventually it was reinstated, but I moved to wordpress already and am very happy with it.
