Went and googled Milsom Street, and saw that Jolly's had closed, and there was no sign of the little herb and soap shop across the road either. Things must change.......
Nice video. I live on the coast, but am 3 miles inland, so gulls fly overhead only when we've got a good storm brewing. They sometimes will fly over a few days after if they found some good eats and are hopeful for more.
That sound IS the seaside ! We get them here and it’s so odd to hear their cries in Hertfordshire with no sea for miles !!! Lovely video ..... the beautiful Bath buildings set against a wonderful sky ( and nice to see a little bit of ‘ normal ‘ life going on again ! XXXX
Very strong winds here Tom and frequent heavy showers. Definitely not seaside weather.
ReplyDeleteStrong wind here too, but yesterday there was sun as well.

ReplyDeleteJolly's is still open. Not sure about the soap shop. Things like come and go very quickly here.

ReplyDeleteThere are about 50 generations of gull here that do not even know what sea is.

ReplyDeleteSee above comment to Megan. 'Normal' life resuming for us is drunks shouting and pissing in the streets, unfortunately. Give me lockdown any day.
DeleteIt certainly seemed a June day.
ReplyDeleteA very nice English Summer day.
DeleteI remember that street - lovely. And the sound of seagulls - some of their relatives live in Berlin, can you imagine that?
ReplyDeleteThat street was built for shops, literally. I have met the Bremerhaven relatives.
DeleteYeah - but in Bremerhaven you can expect seagulls - look at the word "haven" = harbour!
DeleteAt least you've got bits of blue between the clouds. We've just got a heavy grey blanket... plenty of seagulls, though.
ReplyDeleteThe blue made it.
