    1. I like the music and that sort of singing and how it is the film and it holds your attention. I can't watch more because I am going to bed but I could easily watch it one night all the way through I think.

  3. I did watch it through. Mesmerizing. I've felt this way about the wanderers since I first knew them, in the Enormous Room, in college.

    1. It is mesmerising. (That's not a spelling correction - my English spell check insists on it). Those young boy singers - the talent!

    4. When I realized what the film was about, it was the talent of the acting that kept me engrossed. the enormous room was the same for me. Every character became part of my heart and soul. I've read it often, but not recently. I wonder if I could, now.

  4. A magnificent film, Tom - thank you.

Have you read "The Stopping Places" by Damian LeBas? (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/40096074-the-stopping-places)

    A delightful book.
