This photo is a bit of a mystery. I don't even remember taking it. St. Michael's (Without) church is the one you have seen a lot with a Peregrine falcon sitting on it. It has never had lights on the metalwork of the cross that I can recall, which is probably why I photographed it that night.
Also, I have just realised that the huge cockerel weather vane is missing. Very strange. Maybe they took it down for re-gilding, but why the lights?
This is one of the problems about taking photographs when one has had a few I would guess Tom.
ReplyDeleteI think you could be right Weave.
DeleteIt looks strange anyway.
ReplyDeleteAtmospheric eh?
DeleteLooks like google-eyes, but probably just to fend off helicopters.
ReplyDeleteNo, not helicopters but good suggestion.
DeleteHave you considered inquiring of them?
ReplyDeleteWell I could go into the church and ask, but I am a bit worried about getting a perfectly rational explanation.
