Disproportionate does not describe it

I have had it with Israel now. To be specific, the IDF and Netanyahu. I have some good Israeli friends and I am not condemning everyone in the same way that Israel kills Palestinian innocents like they are all Hamas terrorists. Collateral damage my arse.

The U.S. and Britain have sold Israel more heavy weapons. Yesterday they dropped some of them on a humanitarian food supply convoy after they had informed the IDF on their plans and clearly marked the trucks for aircraft, and they killed 8 foreign aid workers.

The aid workers have suspended operations in Gaza now, so the starvation will continue and escalate, just as Netanyahu wants.

I have run out of words for my feelings about the genocide.

  1. The IDF and the president are not the same as ordinary Israelis..just as Hamas are not ordinary Palestinians.
It is just one unholy mess.

  2. I just find the whole thing quite unbearable. How pleased I am to be leaving rather than joining the world at present.

  3. "unintentionally hit". Slippery words.

  4. We absolutely should not be supporting Israel. I agree with you there. We could use the billions of dollars for some good cause. This is NOT a good cause. It is sickening, and it is genocide.

  5. I agree with this post and all the comments. 30,000+ people have died and now 7 innocent aid workers from World Central Kitchen providing food/aid have lost their lives in an IDF strike. The killing is indiscriminate and all in the name of eliminating Hamas. How many of the 30,000+ people who lost their lives were Hamas?

  6. War is evil, killing becomes easy. We who supply Israel with weapons are guilty of not speaking out against this slow genocide, of not only people but the Palestinian culture and infrastructure as well.

  7. All I keep thinking about is Bosnia. I do not know how this war in the Middle East can end without give and take on both sides or a total change in US and Britain about Israel.

  8. At the moment I feel ashamed to be British which to the outsider means I am agreeing to sending arms to Israel. If we vote this lot in at the election when it comes then I hope my life has ended by then.

  9. The comments on here reflect those that I here on the phone-ins on the radio - no one seems to be blaming the Hamas for what has happened and what continues to happen, it's all nasty, nasty Israel. Hamas initiated this six month war with their atrocities on Oct 7th, knowing full well that Israel's response would be severe. If Oct 7th hadn't happened, Oct 8th would of probably been just a normal day and the resultant six months of deaths not of happened. Likewise the Hamas hiding in hospitals, among unwell civilians, has that not led to the hospitals' demise, thanks again to the Hamas.

    1. Another in-depth analysis from you. I think I vaguely remember others saying something similar quite a few months ago.
