At the time of the final game I was driving with my granddaughter to buy something that was very urgent for her, (a white shirt for a concert she had), I was the only car on the road and the only shopper in the store. (She watched the game on her phone). Am I the only person in the world who didn't watch the game?
I watched a documentary on Messi after the match. He is a nice bloke and quite humble for such a superstar. When he was a promising kid they asked him if he wanted to be like Maradonna. He said 'no'.
I could be wrong but I have a feeling that they were happy that they won !!!XXXX
ReplyDeleteI think they were, Jack@.

ReplyDeleteI think you might be, Yael.
DeleteThe vast crowd in Buenos Aires watching on a big screen and their happiness was a joy to behold.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad for Argentina in general and Messi in particular.

DeleteI did not watch the game. That said, I glad to see people happy and even overjoyed.
ReplyDeleteThe game was one of the best World Cup finals ever. It was exhausting to watch.
DeleteGood for them.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone except France thinks the same.
DeleteLike Jacqueline, i somehow feel that Argentina were reasonably chuffed with their result....
ReplyDeleteWhat makes you think that?
