If you can't see my mirrors, I can't see you

Don't undertake me. There will be plenty of time for that later.

Objects in the mirror may be further away than they appear.

If you stare into a mirror by candlelight, The Devil will appear. This one I know to be true.

If you want to view your home town in a new light, look at familiar streets in  mirror. This I also know to be true. Word of advice though, stay in the car and use the rear-view. Do not walk backwards. That way leads to misunderstandings.

  1. We are living in a time of smoke and mirrors. Only the discerning truly know or think they know. Peace be with you.

    1. I think it may already have been done a few times, but in Dracula there is no reflection... which is scarier?

  3. I was a bit worried when I spotted that I avoided to look into a mirror during Covid time - a very unusual behaviour on my side :-)
Now it is getting back to normal: I dare a glimpse and see that I still exist.

  4. I should have held the kingfisher up to the mirror and looked at him there.

  5. Mirrors are deceptive we are visualised in them the wrong way round.

  6. A mirror is good to look at a pot you are making.
It takes you physically and mentally one step away from it.
    Works on prints too

  7. A good potter friend of mine unknowingly bought a left handed wheel and couldn't understand why he could not throw any more. Prints- and castings - are always seen through Alice's looking glass.
