I showed this little shanty poem to an extremely left-wing American student colleague of mine at Art School, and she said, "Hmm. Typical English attitude".

What does 'left wing' have to do with it really? I know plenty of people, both parties, with wonderful humor. Also know plenty with no sense of humor at all. Humor doesn't have much to do with your politics. I myself am a good humored cow when not discussing politics.
ReplyDeleteBecause she was left-wing.
