2 reasons to be cheerful - or at least hopeful

This is how the Covid predictor is wearing. I cannot see much change since it was spilt just before the first lockdown.

We walked past Bath Abbey last night. It was deserted save for the organist who was practicing his arrangement of 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman'. That is optimism, and optimism - like everything else - is infectious.

Two bits of news to give us hope in two days. The first being Trump, of course. The second is that they may - just may - begin to get the virus under control by the end of the year. A German vaccine has proven 90% reliable in recent tests and the laboratory has applied for an emergency licence. Boris has ordered 40 million.

I am holding my breath this time. We need some good news.

    2. Yes! It seems so, l scrolled down the Sun
      and the Mirror..(comics)..yesterday and it
was suggested yet again, saying that the
two have not shared the same bedroom since
moving into the White House..he's probably
sleeping in a kennel..after some of the 'dogs'
he's been seen out with..! :(.

And, it looks as though he won't face charges
after leaving office, he has the power to
      pardon himself..among others!

Vaccine..yes, that is good news, and 90% when
you think the flu jab is only 50%..so lets ALL
      start queueing now! :).

  6. You did come bearing happy news tonight.
Omarosa is one source for the rumor. And, she never wanted to be first lady. And, she hung out in New York for months, getting that new pre-nup agreed to and signed.

  7. So the rumour is true, don't blame her. She needs to get out before his immunity will be removed in January, and all those legal cases coming crashing to the fore...

  8. I wonder why she married him in the first place. He hasn't got a lot of charm but must have a big wallet.

  9. Here's an update from 4hrs ago...

After losing the presidential elections, rumors have it that Donald Trump is likely to lose his wife Melania Trump as well. The media is abuzz with the reports of Melania Trump “counting minutes before she can divorce Donald Trump”.
Former aide, Omarosa Manigault Newman, told the Daily Mail that the couple’s 15-year marriage was over and Melania is counting every minute until he is out of the office and she can divorce...

“If Melania were to try to pull the ultimate humiliation and leave while he’s in office, he would find a way to punish her.”
    (and so on)..

To think he used to present the American version
    of The Apprentice..
Now! We can ALL say to him...'YOUR FIRED'...
