You can you trust?

Hilary Clinton is in London and she expressed her outrage at this government's refusal to publish the report into Russian involvement in British affairs, i.e. social media manipulation etc. She knows what she is talking about. Many people believe Trump's passage to office was nudged along by Putin, who actively dug up as much dirt about Hilary as he could.  Many people believe that Boris Johnson's was as well.

Shortly after Hilary Clinton's interview, a man who has written a book about an alleged cover-up over the Weinstein 'Me Too' accusations (forget his name) came on and said that Hilary Clinton's office was one of the group who killed some of the news stories about Weinstein, because he was one of the most generous funders of Clinton's election campaign.

It is no longer down to party politics. Russia favours right-wing Conservatives over even extreme left-wing socialists like Corbyn these days. How things change. It's pay-back time for all those oligarchs in London now. We have an election coming up.

    I switch off the news after the headlines and watch/read nothing about the election. I don't know who/what to believe and have totally opted out. Cowardly I know. My father (red hot Socialist that he was) will be turning in his grave at me.

      The only thing I am sure of is that both Putin and Trump are very anxious for Britain to leave the E.U. They want to see us prosper of course. I bought a Russian water heater recently. It will be even easier to get spares for it soon.

      I wish Americans from both ends of the political spectrum would fuck off and leave their noses out of it. We have a right to express an opinion about Trump and Putin, because they are both fighting each other for the biggest slice of the carve-up when we leave the E.U. and using every means possible to ensure that it happens. This affects us directly. Hilary Clinton is just trying to sell a book and put the boot in for Trump.

      You know how I feel about this, and it is not pragmatic any more.

    The dirt-digging didn't do much good; she achieved more votes than Trump. Maybe they bribed every member of the Electoral College.

      Actually I meant that the Russian oligarchs who were made rich by Putin will be asked for favours in return by him during their stay in the wealthiest parts of London.
