Trump: 'A bad idea'

This is how we thank the Kurds for doing our dirty work against I.S. in Syria. Everyone knew what would happen, and now it has. What a wonderful world we live in.

  1. Be prepared for I.S. re-forming and getting a new lease of life - in every country in the world.

  2. Even his most loyal GOP supporters are criticizing this, albeit very gently so as not to anger their orange idol.

    1. Trump is actually insane, but that is no excuse.

  4. I was all for waiting for the election next year and voting him out, but that might be too late. He must go now.

    1. It is too late for all sorts of reasons, now he is allowing innocents to be killed.

    2. Worse than that - he is facilitating the killing.

    4. That's the worst bit. One or two trade sanctions perhaps?

  6. And again the dangers are closer here than ever, and this time we will probably be alone.

  7. The Kurds currently hold about 10,000 I.S. fighters as prisoners of war. Are the Turks going to take the responsibility of holding them after they have finished killing the Kurds? Is Trump going to send U.S. troops back in to deal with them after Erdogan has finished his offensive?

    1. About 2000 of these I.S. captives come from Europe. Are their countries going to take them back?

  8. I notice also that one of the first areas they bombed was a residential area.

    1. Trump actually said 'Why should we help the Kurds? They didn't help us in WW2'.

  9. The poor Kurds. I hope someone comes to help them. Trump is such a stain on America. He is everything I abhor in a human.

    1. Erdogan has said that if anyone in the EU accuses him of an invasion he will open up a corridor through Turkey to let 3.6 million refugees into Europe. We are being controlled by a bunch of complete, fucking bastards.

  10. Tom, I very, very rarely agree with ANYONE wholeheartedly, but on this you are absolutely correct, about everything.

    1. 60,000 Kurds have been displaced and are on the move already. This is Hell. The Iranians used to call the USA 'The Great Satan'. Trump has given them justification for the title. He and Erdogan are a disgrace to humanity.

  11. I have banged on about Erdogan on my blog for a long time. He always gets what he wants. He banished Kurds from taking their seats in Parliament, locks them up, makes them disappear and nobody succeeds in crossing him yet. And the EU cosies up to him too.

    1. The EU were vaguely toying with the idea of granting Turkey full membership, then Erdogan turned up and made up their minds.

    1. Their traditional homeland has been dissected by the borders of about three other countries. No respect whatsoever, from anyone. They have no country anymore.
