It is gone 1.00 am and the inconsequential little flowers are filling our compact but adorable city apartment with the most delicious perfume. I am working for the most charming West Country estate within about 200 miles. Summer will turn into Autumn. Autumn will turn into Winter, and life is sweet. I am not sure I deserve it.
I'm so pleased. For a second I forgot. You do deserve to share an estate with a Maine Coon Cat.
ReplyDeleteIf he will have me.
DeleteLife is sweet is it? Well there's a turnaround.
ReplyDeleteNot really. I try to enjoy the seasons but there is always someone trying to spoil it for you my doing things like breaking in to your workshop. I remind myself that they took a few hundred pounds worth of tools but left £15,000 worth of sculpture, then I can go back to enjoying the Summer.
DeleteIn the winter I will plant these flowers here, I discovered that they are called Muntoor, and I hope that for a few moments I will also feel that life is good.
ReplyDeleteThe Latin name of my variety is Matthiola Bicornis. In this country the seeds should be sown around May/June. They would not work in the Winter.
DeleteNight scented stock sorted, work sorted and all’s well with Toms world. Enjoy it. I have never grown NSS ..... I must give them a whirl. Meanwhile I have my sweet peas that smell amazing. XXXX
ReplyDeleteI still have British Gas to sort out yet. They are pretending we have used twice as much electricity than we really have. There is always someone trying to rip you off.
