Systemic

The Labour Party of G.B. is anti-Semitic, apparently.

The right wing of the U.K. is both anti-Semitic and anti-Islamic, apparently.

The Israeli government is anti-Arab, apparently.

I must be anti-everyone then.

It seems that there is no room for rational, humanistic opinions now.

Everything is politicised by people who are - believe it or not - even more desperate than we are.

    I presume you meant the EXTREME right wing in the UK. I think about 20% of Israel's population is Arab; they get along OK. It's just Hamas who cause all the trouble.

    We're probably all prejudiced about something; personally I can't stand liars and hypocrites (whatever their race, creed, or political colour).

      That depends on how EXTREME left-wing you believe the Labour party to be right now. I suppose you have heard that the Israeli government has declared the country to be an exclusively Jewish nation state, ignoring the 17% of the Arab population who have been there for generations?

    I think most of us are perhaps more prejudiced than we allow ourselves to believe. I hope not but fear it is so.

    Everybody is called a racist these days. It is the fashion. You can barely open your mouth without an accusation. If I say a group of gypsies live up the road I am immediately accused of being a racist.
    And the more you try to sound laudable and saintly the more dodgy you make yourself sound. It is a sad state of affairs which causes more unrest and instability than the racism that is supposed to exist and doesn't.

      Accusing others of racism has now turned into a political or social weapon. Nothing to do with even P.C. values any more. Witch-hunts are back in fashion.
