Stop the world, I want to get off

Boris has a lot on his plate right now. How to make trade with a country which threatens to punish any nation that sells its products to countries it doesn't like is just one seemingly insurmountable problem.

Now that the E.U. is coming apart at the seams, Trump feels confident enough to make these unilateral decisions on foreign policy, but there must be many U.S. companies which will suffer horribly because of his election pledges. Nobody believed he would ever become president, so nobody believed he would ever make good his promises.

Before he sacked all his best advisors, they stopped him from putting Hilary Clinton in jail. That is one pledge he has not fulfilled, but there is still time.

The word 'Trump' is the most searched word on Google worldwide right now. You can see why. It is true that people spend more time talking about problematic individuals than they do about reasonable, ordinary ones.

Are things happening faster and faster now, or am I just slowing down?

  1. I'm just back from the Doc's, and he has upped my heart pills. I blame Trump.

  2. The ordinary individuals don't put one's blood pressure up. I find myself nervously searching Trump's tweets every morning - more effective than a cup of coffee for a jump-start.
