Bollock dagger

Following the arsehole Trump's speech to the NRA today, I can inform you that us English have been controlling arms very effectively since the 16th century.

Sword fights were so common amongst the youth in the time of Shakespeare, that the blades which could be legally carried in public were limited to no more than 18 inches long.

We know how to put a stop to knife crime, so shut your mouth.

  1. So what is the weapon of choice these days, over there? Just asking; we won't get past guns here, in my lifetime.

  2. Having heard him talk about some (?) London hospital, I suppose we shall now have to refer to this as Trump's 'Rivers of Blood' speech.

  3. He is the most disgusting man I have ever seen. Can't think of a nice word to say about him. I've heard acid attacks are up in the UK. Who would ever think up that?

    1. No, of course not. I was being ironic about limiting the length to 18 inches.

  5. He also mentioned banning vans. We haven't finished burying those who were killed here in Toronto. At least they are regulated unlike guns. It's no comfort though. He is a hateful man.

    1. He will do anything to appeal to anyone who will keep him in power. I think that if or when he comes to London, he should be given a tour of the hospital he described as being awash with blood on the floors.

    2. Barts was described as being like a warzone by a doctor on Radio 4 news.

    3. I know. I heard it, but to blame the latest epidemic of youth knife crime on the fact that they find it difficult to buy a gun because of our strict laws banning them is taking it right out of context to butter-up to the NRA and is just a cynical way of gaining support from his core voters. He said that if people had been armed during the massacres their would have been lives saved, but you ask a kid in London why he carries a knife and he will always say 'for self-defence'. Trump is a shallow and despicable... you know what I think.

    4. I haven't heard the speech. I was merely commenting on the post and your subsequent comment about a London hospital.

    5. Wow. Banning vans, but arming teachers? The man is a real peach.
