The video

Here it is - I've put up the link rather than the YouTube film itself, because my layout cuts off the right hand side for some bloody reason and you cannot access the controls.

I think they all made a good job of it. It's just a little music video. Like I said - Made by old people, for old people.

  1. Rather sweet! Love the uneven shot of the mismatched chimney pots near the end...

    1. A few days I suppose. They are a charming band. Clare and Brian live in Wales so we don't see much of them.

  7. That was lovely and very well done. I can see why you spend time at The Bell; I wish that we had someplace like that to meet up with friends and enjoy the evening.

I think younger people would enjoy this video also. I know my daughter would.

    1. Bath is full of pubs, but only about three are good ones, for different reasons. I have a friend who will not go to The Bell because he thinks it is too 'left wing'.

    1. Thanks Donna. Everyone was a professional except me, which is why I got them to do it all.

  10. Which one was you Tom? Or were you behind the camera, nor yet the counter?

‘Was it the Bell we went to in Bath?

    ‘No it was the Star!’

‘Was it the Bell we went to in Bath?’

‘Oh! Pity, think I would have preferred the Bell!’

Loved the film, the song, the whole shebang! Cheers LX

  11. It is lovely. I enjoyed everything of it: the drone over Bath, the theme song, the atmosphere of the Bell Inn, the ukelule. Well done Tom.
    Greetings Maria x

    1. It was fun (and nerve wracking) doing the drone stuff.

  14. I thought what I saw on a brief initial look was quite charming. Especially the slow approach over water and the ukulele - my current fave musical instrument. Sadly when I went back to watch it properly it had gone! I still can't find it although Rachel obviously could. Aaargh.

  16. Wow, wow and wow. I really liked it. The beautiful footage of Bath and the gentle song is just perfect for something called "With love ...." It's a good music video for the group but also shows the appreciation for the beautiful city of Bath. What a lucky man you are, indeed, to live there. I will completely have to revise my opinion on Ukuleles. No offense (Weaver), but I always thought that Ukuleles are just peculiar little things. Not so!! I even like the sign on the side of the building with the inset "The". Hahhhhhhh, it was good, really good. Highly offended, though, at the whole 'for old people' thing! (wink, wink)

    1. I made the sign too... Moi? Arrogant? No.

    2. I knew that you were involved in the making of the actual bell but the sign, as well? Well done!

    3. Actually that's a lie. I bolted it to the wall.

    4. I had as much to do with the making of it as I had to do with the making of the video.

    1. It was empty during the filming. It was built as a pub about 300 years ago.
