There was even snow

This reminds me of a Christmas about 20 years ago when we took the very young Boy to see the first of the series. There was even snow on the ground outside the cinema. I think I was more enthralled than he was!

  1. That is a binge watch for us at Christmas. My grandkids are older and we all love all of the movies. We have a lot of snow and more coming today. A Merry Magical Christmas.

    1. You would either love it or hate it. Actually you might just be indifferent. I haven't read any of the books.

    2. Until last night I was also a Potter virgin. I lasted about ten mins; not my cup of tea!

  4. Honestly: 20 years ago?
How time flies! (I still remember my friend Anne, coming back from GB, telling me:"I discovered a very interesting book! It is a children's book, but a lot of Londoners, grown-ups, sit in the tube and read it. So: buy it!"
    Which I did.

    1. I think it changed lives - or attitudes toward them anyway.

    2. I remember HP hitting our shores back in 2000, I think it was. Not just kids, but I remember seeing adults reading the books on public transport.

  7. A wish for your Christmas happiness and a better (can always be better) New Year.
In deepest, darkest France we shall have to wait for the DVDs to become available - Paddington 2 and Star Wars are top of my list.

  11. Thanks too all. My iMac is unusable so I can't even watch TV right now, but that's not a huge problem. This is done on a phone, hence blanket greeting: Happy Christmas!
