Love the stuff, and hate it when there isn't enough of it in the cake. I have also just eaten two custard tarts and I love them too!
I had just eaten a French tart with it, piled high with fresh fruit.
Ugh! Hate it! Reminds me of baby food. But then, I've always said English food is basically nursery fare. I make fruit tarts without out it and no one ever misses it.
Nothing wrong with baby food... perhaps. Do you still make cheese cake?
