Brown paper packages, tied up with string...

This pussy photo is only here so that I don't have to post my name and address right at the top.

This photo has now been removed. Sorry.

This is how the package that Jack@ sent me was addressed - isn't it marvellous? This was just the outer layer of about 4 others, like a Russian doll.

Jack@, you are a true artist - or at the very least, a true calligrapher. The book is just perfect too, thank you so much.

As for the rest of you, if I see any strangers hanging around outside my place, I'm calling the police. That includes my estranged brother, if he's still lurking and reading this stuff.

At least I know that a computer will not be able to decipher it.

  1. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours Tom ..... You asked someone to give you the book for Christmas, I saw it, I sent it !!!!! You can probably tell that I forgot your postcode so it's a bit squashed in .... I couldn't be bothered to do it all again !!
Don't think that you'll get many comments on this post but thanks for the thanks !! XXXX

    3. Wow, Jackie, that is amazing - very Elizabethan looking and very beautiful. I would keep that kind of packaging in my little keepsake drawer.

And now to you, Mr.(ahem) Stephenson. Might you be expecting more presents, now that your address is displayed here? As Camilla once said to Prince Charles: "You are a clever old thing." ;)

    4. Well, I don't deserve the praise but thanks .... I have always written like that from my schooldays .... everyone tried to have more flowery writing than the next person. I have to do everyone's wedding invitations, place settings etc. I do cross my fingers and hope that any letters or parcels that have my writing on, get there !!!! Glad Tom's reached his home OK. 2. It is lovely writing Jackie, in fact just the way I would have expected you to write from your lovely website, with or without the bloody snow flakes.

So this is the wrapping paper, nothing hilarious so far S. Are you going to tell us about the book? I am off to the carol service tonight so won't be in Bath, nothing to fear.
