Never mind zombies. A little birdie tells me that the next series of Sherlock is about to be filmed - in nearby Bristol! (I was told it was Bath, but I think not).
Far be it from me to interrupt a thread so I wont and I will start one of my own as I am out on best behaviour at present. . I have never seen a single episode of Downton Abbey or Sherlock. (I thought I had tuned into Twitter here by mistake).
'Sherlock`' is my best beloved version at the moment (and I know them all, and all the different DVDs allow to peruse them carefully - and actually there is no need to judge them - Jeremy Brett is wonderful, too -- but I have a soft spot for Benedict Cumberbatch)
I think that we'll be waiting a while to see it Tom as I think that they are filming the Christmas 2015 special and then 3 episodes scheduled for 2016 ……. keep 'em waiting is always a good ploy !! XXXX
Yay!!! I do enjoy that show, and will watch re-runs of it. It pushed me to read a bunch of the short stories after seeing an interview w/Gatiss and Moffat. Also I am big fan of Amanda Abbington.
Do you go and hid behind a pillar to watch it being filmed, or maybe don some of you rather fancy gear and stroll across hoping to be called on as an extra. I shall watch it in case.
I think they are filming in Bath in February, but they have chosen a street which is easily blocked-off to both pedestrians and traffic, so I doubt if I could get anywhere near it!
Darling Tom,
ReplyDeleteBasil Rathbone will be for ever Sherlock to us.......
Still, no television, no will see. We must be the only people on the planet to not have seen a single episode of Downton Abbey, let alone Sherlock!
Niether have I - you're not alone. Rathbone is fine as Sherlock, but Nigel Bruce is too much of an idiot as Watson.

ReplyDeleteI was hoping you confused me with John Gray - as if!

ReplyDeleteJeremy Brett is awful. Just awful.
DeleteI like him
DeleteBoth Brett and Cumberbatch are excellent actors Brigitta.
ReplyDeleteCumberbatch is good, but Brett - as I said - is just awful.

ReplyDeleteIt worked with Potter, but we did have to watch them all grow up.

ReplyDeleteGatiss is a genius almost worthy of Mycroft.
DeleteHe is - I'm half in love with him - but I'm not his type, sadly.
