Three sinister images

Seen in an antique shop last week - someone's beloved old Collie. Price: £450.

Strange goings-on in my workshop.

A beautiful, young friend making an obscene gesture at me with her right hand. The reason she could not use her left is because it is bandaged-up after she fell out of a tree whilst dressed as a Whoopee-Cushion. Yes, you read it correctly: Fell out of a tree whilst dressed as a Whoopee-Cushion.

  1. I don't think you could possible make that last one up, Tom! My goodness, those eyes are beautiful -- obscene gesture or not...

  3. I did start to get a bit worried when you said she couldn't use her left hand !!!! ..... sorry, I've lowered the tone .... and, I can't really see that stuffed collie being snapped up sometime soon.
..... those cherubs look as if they've had a few too many ! XXXX

    2. A horse's collar - no innuendo intended.

  4. £450 is less than a live one would be so it undoubtedly needs snapping up pronto.

    3. I believe they are a lot lighter once stuffed - unlike the rest of us.

  6. Tom, like the FA when Brian Clough ordered his two pies for halftime from the lady in the stands you could well be mistaken about the meaning of the "obscene" gesture, you know. She may be saying: two more points and we're going up.

  7. Well of course; how else would a young lady dress for tree climbing!

    1. It must have broken the fall, but woke up the neighbours at the same time.

  8. Where I come from that means "I'm looking at you," generally a parent pointing two fingers at a naughty child and them back at his own eyes. My nephew and his girlfriend make the exchange on occasion, one assumes for reasons of their own.
So, why is she looking at you?

  9. I don;t know which image is the most disturbing - I suppose it just has to be that stuffed collie - yuk. I just cannot image why anyone would climb a tree while dressed as a whoopee cushion.

    1. Literally, yes, but I don't know what hidden meaning your question has.

  12. Shall we hear more about this young lady in the future? She seems to have potential.

    1. Well I would like to thinks so, but I don't see her that often, and she is quite private (even though she does climb trees dressed as a whoopee cushion...), so maybe not.
