I have said it before and I'll say it again Tom - sometimes when I see your U Tube posts I think I live in a different world from you - and also that I haven't lived.
Well you might not have lived on the Reeperbhan, as I briefly did once. I spent a few weeks surrounded by lorry-drivers dressed as women, who I would bump into at 9.00 in the morning whilst going to get milk. There is one bar there which stays open 24 hours a day, 364 days of the year, closing only once for a bit of a clean, then reopening on January 2nd.
Grosse Freiheit - still the same!
ReplyDeleteGosh what fun.
ReplyDeleteI've left another comment on your previous post.
ReplyDeleteDear Tom,
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful surprise on a cold spring morning! Thank you so much, I enjoy that!
The atmosphere on the Reeperbhan was exactly the same the last time I was there, about 20 years ago.
