????

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I've got a knife,
Get in the van.

  2. Is that the windowless van and tear-stained air mattress?

I am thankful for Carol Ann Duffy's onion.

    1. That's the one, although - thankfully - I have never seen the inside.

  3. I oft suspected that you had a hidden dark side young Tom!

  4. My favourite poem. I quoted it to the shop assistant recently while buying some gaffer tape, explaining to him that I was looking for a boyfriend.

    2. There was a definite lack of eye contact in our transaction.

    3. That's probably because of the gaffer tape.

    1. I saw a T-Shirt for sale recently, and on it was printed:

      What do we want?
      A cure for Tourette's.
      When do we want it?
      Cunt!

I have to say that appealed to me as well. Maybe I need help.

  6. Roses are 15 quid,
    Violets are more,
    Any more of your nagging,
And you'll be out that door!

  7. Hello Tom:
In our view, best ignore the whole thing and, like everything else, except the gas bill, it will go away!

    1. I suppose you mean the whole Valentine's Day thing. I've been forced to ignore it for about 30 years now... sob...

    2. Or maybe you meant my dark side?

    3. Still waiting patiently by my letterbox. The boy who sold me gaffer tape should be turning up any time soon.

By the by, it's still my birthday. I was born a Friday the 13th child.
February in the land of Oz is full of sun sweetened fruit, sweetcorn and fellow Aqua whackos celebrating. Plus we fall either side of the Chinese New Year. So ... pulling rank. It's the only day I can do it.
      Big X

  8. I think I may have a dark side as well, because I found the entire post and follow up comments highly amusing.
The vans that are most feared in the US are the ones with the bubble windows in the upper rear corners and drug inspired murals painted on the sides.

    1. Everyone has a dark side - it's the ones who hide it that you have to watch.
