Blue Hills and Green Eyes

I went to pick up the girlie (and her grandmother) at South Wraxall this afternoon, and stopped at the brow of the hill to take this picture of the distant Westbury White Horse, sweating a little in the summer heat.  Wiltshire - don't you love it?

Those eyes - don't you love those eyes?  Of course, you ask anyone if you can take a picture of their eyes, and the first thing they do is screw them up, make them take on a demented expression, look away, or even close them all together, so this is the best of a hard-won bunch.

I have (in the past) and will (in the future) do anything for those eyes, and - I hope - she knows it.

    1. I just tried three times to comment on your blog, Donna, and something went wrong each time, so I will say it here and now, until I am let back into your fold.

A pink cast! Oh, the poor little thing. She is so cute too, and you are looking wonderful as usual. Are you finished with the chemo now, or is there more to come?

    1. She dreamt that she went into the pub to look for me a while ago, and the girls told her, "Oh, haven't you heard? He's dead". She woke up in tears! (So she said...)
