Scottie!

How funny that the same day that John posts this up about his little Scottie, I buy this one from a new antiques flea-market here in Bath (I also bought a nice Georgian Rummer glass, but I won't bore you with that - for a change...). It's only about 2 inches long and it sits nicely with the other metal dog on the mantle-piece - but I will send it as a little present to you if you really want it John!

  8. Oh John, you've sold out. We'll never hear the end of this.

I thought you 'couldn't be bought for the price of a cocktail'?

  9. That's pretty much his EXACT address, Eileen.

In this case, he's sold out for the price of the '-Tail' on that doggie, Chris. 'Cock-' has nothing to do with it - honest. No, really.

but like anyone, I CAN BE bought!
A DOUBLE GIN AND TONIC ( with ice and lemon) will get me laughing at anyone's bad jokes!

  12. Now it all makes sense John.

All those empty square green bottles outside your house of an evening.

I thought it was Trelawnyd's bottle bank on Google Earth!

  13. I think you'll find that 'Bombay Sapphire' is the gin of choice up there in the land of our Mothers, Chris - they're sapphire coloured bottles, so I am told.
