That 'recording', old and scratchy as it was, was kind of amazing to me. Listening to a 150 year old voice. That being said, it did sound an awful lot like a bumble bee in a jam jar.
She put lots of emotion in to her words along with the static/scratchy sound. Slick reporting today has none of this and the sound is perfect. If only the news was better.
Apparently the producer said through her headset that it sounded like a bumble bee in a jam jar.
