I cannot believe there are only 150k paid up members of the Conservative Party. Even I could have had a say in the matter if I had paid my dues. Anyone know how much those dues are? Do they have different levels of membership, like theatres? 'Gold' level with perks?
The good news is that she is not popular amongst her own party so she might not be that long in power. Is that good news? Probably not. The Queen must be getting a bit tired of welcoming new Conservative P.M.s. At least Rishi Sunak knew what he was doing.
I believe it costs £25 p.a. - cheaper than Labour which has twice as many members. I've been hoping from the start that she would win.
ReplyDeleteBargain.
DeleteIt seems that most speculators believe she will not last long. A completely unfair small voting system by the conservatives hoisted on the country but she didn't fair quite as well as expected and there might be a crumb of comfort there.
ReplyDeleteFoisted.
DeleteYou're being obtuse. Who is she and what is her dream job? I saw the union jack and thought it was Geri Halliwell for a moment.
ReplyDeleteP.M.

ReplyDeleteAmen.
DeleteYou couldn't make it up.
ReplyDeleteNo.
DeleteNo choice here. I say, give her a chance. She can't do more damage than BJ. It is time to think about who is next, after LT?
ReplyDeleteNo choice BUT to giver her a chance.
DeleteI don't trust her one bit.

She's thick and ambitious.
DeleteHer speech on the steps of number ten at tea time said it all.
ReplyDeleteI heard Boris at 7.30.
