I would like to go to Ledbury with her

That's more than enough of that. This truck comes every day and stays for about a quarter of an hour. If I was rich I would willingly buy them a Dearman refrigeration unit. You may wonder why I didn't hold the phone the right way round for the bluebell video. So do I.

Before H.I. and I set out for the bluebell woods on Monday, we saw her daughter who asked where we were off to. H.I. said, "We are going to Lidl (which we were - it's on the way) It's so exciting! I hardly ever get out of Bath!"

I sometimes get the impression that the rest of the family think I keep her locked in a cupboard for weeks on end, only letting her out to shop.

  1. Now I feel vindicated. I see that you still get black bars top and bottom instead of side to side when you flip the phone. Anyone know how to get rid of them?

  2. I've always thought you don't even let her out to shop. Your quote "We are going to Lidl. It's so exciting!" seemed to confirm this.

As for the black lines, you could do something like crop but in fact if I look at the video on full screen the black bars disappear anyway.

I don't understand the heading to the post.

    1. Thelma has just done a post on Ledbury. You know Thelma, she's the Leftie that complains about Boris as much as I do.

    2. No, not Thelma, even though she does rant about the same stuff as I do.

  3. All to no avail, Johnson just mumbles sorry, sorry, sorry, I won't do that again. He is a born again liar. Not sure about the Ledbury bit but take H.I. soon because the fritillary are out. I take my videos with a camera, that is why they have no black edgings. That is if you are envious of my video skills ;)

    1. Oh sorry, it was Codlinsandcream who did the post about Ledbury. I actually like not carrying a camera around but I also don't like - or can't be bothered with editing videos. It's a palava.

    2. have completely eliminated the name Boris from my vocabulary henceforth. (unless I have course to mention Boris Karloff of course)

  4. Rachel has your black line solution. Best of all, it requires no action by you. The daily deliveries offer some intrigue to your street.

  5. The truck under your window would annoy me more than black stripes on a video.

Bluebells all over the ground are such a lovely typical English sight!
