Yes, I was looking out to sea at Studland Bay, having a cup of tea at the beach cafe when I saw him staring back at me from a distance of about 4 feet.
Reminds me of the song by the Police "Every breath you take": Every breath you take and every move you make Every bond you break, every step you take, I'll be watching you Every single day, every word you say Every game you play, every night you stay, I'll be watching you
It becomes even more striking if one clicks on it and enlarges it because the wood looks like animal hair. I like it.

DeleteI think he looks more like a Polar Bear.
ReplyDeleteWhich would you rather be attacked by Weave?
DeleteThat is fascinating. The eyes are really pensive and have a staring quality. The message is: "I'm watching you."
ReplyDeleteThe look of love… no, obsession and focus.
DeleteElephant.
ReplyDeleteJesus. I must be living in a different universe.
DeleteReminds me of the song by the Police "Every breath you take":
ReplyDeleteEvery breath you take and every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take, I'll be watching you
Every single day, every word you say
Every game you play, every night you stay, I'll be watching you
That tune has big memories for me. It was the alarm call for a nurse I was going out with at the time.
DeleteFascinating - I can fully understand why you grabbed it and carried it back home with you.
ReplyDeleteThe photo was the only thing I took home.
DeleteI believe we like it more than it liked you.
ReplyDeleteI think lions are indifferent to their prey.
DeleteOh yes. It has a name, seeing faces in inanimate objects, face pareidolia. Everything has a name apparently.
ReplyDeleteI see backsides in trees too.
DeleteI think elephant as well …. Funny how we see things differently …. I see faces in everything. XXXX
ReplyDeleteI don't think it has elephant eyes, but I'll check. The photo could do with cropping sideways too.
DeleteDefinitely something hairy!
ReplyDeleteKeeping an eye or two on you
I am always keeping an eye out for something hairy.
DeleteLion, you can see the broad nose
