Our meeting in the park with nearest and dearest has been cancelled because the weather is NOT like it is in this video, taken last year. Rachel tells me that we in the West are getting the worst of it today, with really wet rain being driven by an unpleasant cold wind.
So we will watch the Queen's Speech after all. Happy Christmas.
I can even see some blue sky now. Enjoy the day at home and have a Happy Christmas anyway. The Queen will make up for it all. X
ReplyDeleteHe always does.
DeleteNever disappoints us does he!
DeleteHappy Christmas Tom.
ReplyDeleteAnd to you Yael.
DeleteWe have had cold and 6⁰ of windchill ..but dry at least!!
ReplyDeleteChristmas greetings Tom, here's hoping for a kinder New year and being able to celebrate again in a year's time
I am impressed at you finding the degree sign to put after the 6.
DeleteEasy! Keep your finger down on the 0 and you get ⁰!!
DeleteHappy Christmas Tom. Your weather is abysmal just like ours. Rain and ice with temperatures hovering at freezing. The roads are treacherous and we are warned to stay in place. Looks like everybody will stay for the night.
ReplyDeleteI prefer very cold and dry.
DeleteI hope it was a happy day nonetheless. I must look for the Queen's speech.
ReplyDeleteYes, lots of TV. Too bad to go out.
DeleteWe even managed some sunshine this afternoon. I watched The Queen - thought she had lost a lot of weight.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think she looked thin, but her eyes were still bright.
DeleteGiven I bet you to Christmas Day by 12 hours, I'm still late to the party :) Happy boxing Day!
ReplyDeleteThat's just wrong. Everyone knows that Jesus was born on the stroke of midnight, GMT.
DeleteBelated Christmas wishes, Tom. I thought the Queen's speech was very poignant and reached a lot of people. Hope you and H.I. are going on OK.
