Oh hell, did you hear Dianne Abbott's contribution to tonight's BBC Any Questions? Constantly referring to statutory sick pay as a pension? She is so bloody useless.
We have no opposition to the present government, and there is none in sight for the foreseeable future.
This government just bluff their way through these uncharted waters, made even more treacherous by the latest flu virus. The current uncivil war with the Civil Service means that the latest Health Minister believes that his officials have had meaningful discussions and made meaningful arrangements with the leading supermarkets to supply those who have elected to self-isolate for the civil good, whereas nothing of the kind ever occurred.
We are afloat in a sea of shite, and the tributaries of the rivers which flow into it stem from our own backsides.

I read a fine article in The Guardian of a chap wo - tongue in cheek - mocked Your Borris and the flu-hype.
(I hope someone notices that "Your Borris" is my way to quote "Keeping up Appearances" - Onslow and Daisy always say "Your Hyacinth")

This is why I don't watch Any Questions, it does my blood pressure and sleep patterns no good.
