This is the only gardening tip you are ever likely to get from me. It may be the only one I am (almost) qualified to give.
Plants like to be handled roughly, especially during potting at the seedling stage. They do much better if they are not mollycoddled.
I once briefly had a girlfriend who asked me to handle her roughly. I could not bring myself to do it.
I have never excelled at gardening.
You don’t like ‘ a bit of rough ‘ then ? XXXX
ReplyDeleteThis post is unfinished.
ReplyDeleteWell why don't you finish it for me?
DeleteSo she decided to show you and you ended up with a broken rib and she became a head gardener.
DeleteNo. I never saw her again and the girl who broke my ribs was an Israeli choreographer.
DeleteI made it up for fun when you asked me to finish it.
DeleteOh, I thought you remembered the story of the Israeli girl who broke my ribs.
DeleteWell, yes I did, but I added the head gardener bit because I thought it was a good punchline to the story.
DeleteMetaphor mixing, here.
ReplyDeleteJust a bit.
