What's got four arms and a trunk?

H.I. sometimes puts recently washed articles on the back of the sofa to air off the last of the dampness. This was the most pleasing arrangement yet.

Three dishcloths (sadly not including Joanne's), two jumpers and a hot water bottle cover pretending to be Baba the Elephant. Please embiggen for best effect.

You can tell she's a painter, can't you?

  1. Very aesthetically pleasing, definitely worth the photograph. It takes a like minded person to notice it of course and yet another to appreciate it.

    1. I hate it when people say 'correct' when what they should say is, 'yes'. It's so patronising.

    2. Sorry. It wasn't meant to be. I hate anything patronising.

    3. Don't be. I know you were being ironic. Next time, please spell it 'korrekt'.

    4. I was smiling a smile between friends when I wrote it. I'll remember korrekt in future.

  2. To throw my two cents in, that shade of green is one of my favourite colours, especially pleasing with gold accents. There you go. -Jenn

  3. Could not resist counting the buttons on the chartreuse jumper. There are 12 in case anyone wants to know.

  4. You definitely see an artist's hand here, but as Rachel said, so does the artist's eye who saw it.

  5. I imagine you roaming round the house looking for something to photograph. You should have made the title 'What is it?' - don't think anyone would have answered that question.

  6. Those look like tea towels rather than dish cloths, but I do like them.

  7. Gives a whole new meaning to the expression 'sofa art'.
