Shark alert

I am not sure if everyone has noticed the sharks circling around the sinking ship of British politics right now. People seem to be more concerned about the arrangement of deck chairs than the immediate future.

  1. Oh, you mean China and Russia. Or else Russia and China. Yes, I've noticed. Your Boris and our Brump are no good for us.

  3. I think those few words sum it up nicely for me. Although there's nothing nice about it.

    1. 'Nice' in the correct sense of the word would be appropriate, but I am hoping it isn't too nice.

  4. I don't see that at all. I see that Boris Johnson will lead the country through the troubles ahead and make it a better place than all the other parties put together and we will have a place in the world in our own right.

    3. Personally I don't think there has been any greater liar than Theresa May.

    4. I don't that Boris bothers to lie any more. He never delivers on his promises anyway.

  5. After yesterday's racy tale, which I somehow missed and have just read, today's pales into insignificance. Election? What election? Have I missed something? That is my attitude to it all.

    1. That's my attitude to it all too Weave. That's why I am voting Lib Dem and then hiding under the duvet. To hell with the lot of them.

    2. I'm no fan of Corbyn but will vote labour because if Johnson remains PM the NHS, social care, workers' rights and schools are fucked.

    3. I'm not so sure he cares about anything other than getting at big business. If he gets in there will be no investment using private funds, whereas if Boris remains in the U.S. drug companies will invest heavily in the NHS. Much of the profit from private money going into the infrastructure is paying for people's pensions.
