I don't have to go outside to stick out my tongue. I am rude enough to stick it out indoors. It's snowing here (no big news for you) but I wish it was December 24th,
We had about 2 inches overnight here in Harpenden. Looks nice but don't like driving in it ! ( or walking when it has turned to packed ice on the pavements )
We have a lot of snow here too and I had to get up early as I was so excited - it brings out the child in us. Apparently you can make snow ice cream with condensed milk and snow.
We have a faint covering which I thought was just frost but I now see is snow. The sun is up and where it has reached my garden the snow has gone. I can do without it these days but used to love it.
I did this on my phone. Minimal, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAccuWeather forecast says snow at midnight. Go outside and stick out your tongue.

DeleteNo, no. Go out. Go out. Stick out your tongue and catch snow flakes. You don't have to admit to it; just do it.
DeleteMaybe later. I am looking at it through windows this morning.
DeleteHow frequently do you get snow? (I honestly don't know) When it does snow, does it stay, or does it melt quickly? -Jenn
ReplyDeleteAbout once a year. Usually it goes quickly but last year it lasted for a couple of weeks.
DeleteYou probably don’t get snow as much as Joanne and I do. If you did, you would not like it as much.
ReplyDeleteIt's the beginning which is best. I understand that the novelty wears off.
DeleteOoh, I'm jealous! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteYou should build a tiny snowman and share a picture of him here. ⛄
Maybe, but probably not.
DeleteRain here; yuk.
ReplyDeleteNot so good.
DeleteLove snow too.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend with a Land Rover who has broken his collar bone and can't drive. He's gutted.
DeleteThere is something extremely childishly fun about snow. If I was in Bath we could have a snowball fight and be like ships passing in the night.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any snow here today in the midlands...just a grey cold windy day...snow does look pretty but is a real pain to have to drive in.
ReplyDeleteIt is in Wales and the South West.

ReplyDeleteI have a pair of spiked grips for walking on ice.

ReplyDeleteDon't use yellow snow.

ReplyDeleteWales and the South West are getting it. I don't like slippery pavements though!
