A few months ago, Boris Johnson vowed to lie down in the path of bulldozers in order to prevent the expansion of Heathrow Airport, which will destroy lots of pretty villages as well as increasing noise and pollution levels for everyone under the flightpaths.
A few weeks ago, everyone predicted that Boris would be out of the country when today's vote to expand Heathrow Airport was made, and - surprise surprise - he was indeed out of the country on urgent Foreign Office business. The 'yes' vote was overwhelming.
Now come on. Be honest. Do you still really think that cuddly Boris is an entertaining eccentric who has this country at the heart of his interests, or do you think he is a selfish buffoon who would sell his own mother to hang on to any position of power whatsoever?

He's certainly NOT the Bumbling Boris I used to quite like. Real power has overtly changed him; no chance now of him ever becoming PM.
