If I could do it all over again, I'd do it all over you

I have just bought a (nother) copy of this book. I have bought at least four copies over the last 50 years, but I am so impressed with a herbal remedy I have been using recently that I am going all herbal, all over again.

I remember a remedy for bronchitis which involved a tobacco inhale. That's my kind of physician.

  1. Does Culpeper have a remedy for ageing?

  2. That looks like a great book. I must look for it at my next round of thrift shopping. My favorite herbal recipe for aging involves poppy serum. Need I say more?

  3. I'm probably growing the wrong herbs.

  4. Do you intend to actually read this book?
It looks incredibly boring to me Tom.

    1. It's a reference book, Weave. You don't read it cover to cover.

  5. I keep my home herbal by the side of the chair for reference purposes, along with the atlas and the dictionary.

    1. That's probably why you didn't die - or if you did, you would have known where you were and how to spell it.

    1. It was Bonzo Dog. I used to hang out with Caravan in Canterbury.

    1. Much better since the Devil's Claw, thanks. My copy was under £6, but you can buy 19th C. ones for a few hundred.
