Not by trying. I like the idea that it is always the same moon, no matter where you are. Children seem to take the moon for granted, like birds and animals take rain, but who knows what they are really thinking?
Fantastic sky and moon out here at this moment but I cannot do it justice on my phone. Your photo has interesting points of colour without the moons as much as with.
The red ones on the skyline are the lights on a couple of cranes at the university. When not traced in circles whilst waiting for a long exposure, they make a good combination.
I usually just leave the camera on the last setting I used it, but with this I kept changing the settings to try and take a better picture. I never saw a setting for double-exposure though.
How do you do that? full moon also here. I was with my grandchildren at the beach tonight and they showed no interest.

DeleteI did that! Thought it was the double glazing.
ReplyDeleteWell we don't have double glazing, so I am blaming the camera.

DeleteI always knew that Bath was very special... as your photo has now proved it has twin moons.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame one isn't green.
DeleteWhat a smart little camera in your phone.
ReplyDeleteActually, this was just a camera - supposedly dedicated to taking good photos.
DeleteOk it's an interesting photo

DeleteYeah, clean that lens. I am still trying to figure out why you thought that there was a disabled pirate on the street below.
ReplyDeleteLook at his head gear and general appearance.
DeleteIt was a glorious full moon here in the North.
ReplyDeleteClear skies all over the place last night, I think.
DeleteI wish I could figure out how to put a photo in the comments. Sometimes a photograph seems the best response. Your moons are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGoogle does not allow photos in blog replies.
DeleteMy moons are beautiful? Then so are yours.
It looks like a view from earth in an alternative universe.
ReplyDeleteYes. Shame Sci-Fi writers are so despised by Booker Prize judges.
