Little cherubs turn up in the most unlikely places.
Sometimes to be found in Victorian toilet bowls.
That is lovely Tom .... is it one of yours ? If so, I bagsee it when I come round one day for a glass of wine ! XXXX
I wish. It was bought by a friend of mine but he couldn't afford to keep it, let alone dare use it. He sold it on for around £35,000.
The crazy thing is that you can only see the engraving in certain lights.
A bit kitschy for my taste, though I admire the artistry.
Kitschy?!

I adore anything old and beautiful. With glassworks, which are so fragile, I can often hardly believe that they have survived the ages. So precious and so cool!
Most of that - I hope - applies to me.
Ha!
Wow, that is a glass. It must have royal lineage. Beautiful.
Only royal in the world of 18th century glass - a very famous engraver.
I cannot make the image large enough to find the third goblet Ah, well.
I don't think that there is a third glass, but I like the idea of mirrored infinity.
You seem to be a glass and candlestick man Tom - beautiful glass by the way.
'Nut' might be a better description, Weave. If the lights go out, you are plunged into 18th C. candlelight with your wine. What else do you need?
