WW3 and 4 at the same time

I think the most dangerous thing about Donald Trump is his utter unpredictability. His closest advisors do not know which way he will turn next.

Before his election and immediately after, everyone was shit-scared that he was getting into bed with Putin, and now he is over in Poland rattling his sabre in Russia's direction and talking about maintaining European values of 'freedom' - 'at whatever cost'.

Since North Korea successfully sent an ICBM over 600 miles of sea the other day, he seems to have stopped relying on the Chinese to calm things down, and is talking about 'severe measures' to keep N.K. under control by the U.S.

I am now a little bit nervous. He appears to be about to declare war on the two most tooled-up nations on Earth, simultaneously. I wonder if he sacked all the experienced diplomats during the start of the 'drain the swamp' exercise?

Trump is an old and rich man with property all over the world. He can afford to start wars.

Still, looking on the bright side, it puts our little Brexit problem into perspective, eh?

    1. I have not yet read it. I've been listening to 'Rogue Herries' by Hugh Walpole. Tears and everything.

  2. Trump is crazy. He's made the world crazy. No good predicting who gets what gets who. Keep your head down and wait until he tries to have another draft.

    1. I'm too old and too English. I was too young for the first Korean War too.

  3. It is no exaggeration to describe Trump as the new Hitler. I sincerely believe this. Today he is in Poland, tomorrow he will be in Hamburg.

The E.U. was set up to guard against the mighty US dollar, and now the dollar has dropped out, us Brits help scum like Trump on their way.

For the first time in my life, I feel ashamed to be British.

    In God We Trust?

God only intervenes in the affairs of man by invitation.

  4. I've always been ashamed to be British. I'm English. What has Trump done to be associated with Adolf Hitler?

    1. He has exploited the drastic downturn in the US economy by appealing to the poor and blaming the downturn on foreigners for bring crime and drugs into the country. He is trying to nurture an extreme form of nationalism and insularity at the same time as showing ambitions to use force against other countries who have as much to lose from the existence of rogue states as the U.S. He is on course to turn the U.S. into a rogue state by ignoring any voices of reason which he can still hear now that he has got rid of all previous advisors and diplomats in favour of his own cronies. He is in the process of removing power from independent intelligence agencies with a view to setting up a police force more in keeping with his stated policies.

  5. I quite expect to see him cosying-up to Putin; we'll see quite soon.

    1. I think he is too stupid to be that diplomatic. He much prefers to test his 'masculinity' against the other Alpha Male's until someone loses, and he doesn't like to lose. One of his worst insults is to call another man a loser. Women cannot lose because they are not in the game.

    2. Anyway, he will probably send out a Tweet halfway through the meeting, then his advisors will know what he is thinking.

  6. He's more of a Kaiser Wilhelm II than a Hitler.

    1. Difficult in a short comment. He was a hothead, unpredictable and not the wisest of leaders. Check him out or ask yout German pal's opinion.

    2. I would much rather you wrote a massive treatise on him in place of your Tour de France posts.

  7. Hitler killed 6,000,000 Jews. Who has Trump killed?

    1. Don't be obtuse. I am talking about the initial road to power and how it was achieved. Anyway, if Trump goes head to head with both Russia and China, there is still plenty of time left to kill a lot more than 6 million, although it will - admittedly - be more an act of pointless stupidity rather than deliberate policy.

    2. All that you said, Tom, and more...

His penchant for discrediting the press is also disturbing. The language he uses when describing how they should be handled is violent.

  8. That was an excellent and concise comparison to Hitler. Though I tend to believe that Hitler had more of a focus and more of a plan for world domination. He surely is, however, truly out of his mind and the future seems to be more and more precarious.

    1. You're deluded. Hitler was the most evil man in history. Trump is nothing like him. Get your own opinions if you can. I very much doubt it. Trump is no politician, but he's doing a job that they couldn't. They failed.

  10. You have no idea of history. Just a biased opinion. What you mean is that he can't be compared to Hitler at all. You don't like him. Get a fucking life!

  12. You're a bigot. Only interested in what you have to say. Never mind anybody else. Describing anybody as being like Hitler is a gross, misconceived exaggeration.

    1. Coming from you that's a bit rich. You tell a woman to get her own opinions and express doubt as to whether she is capable of them. You really do admire Trump, don't you?!

  13. Trump is a lying moron - has every characteristic I abhor in a human being. He has over 400 government positions left to fill because no one wants to work for him. Psychiatrists have been talking about how deeply mentally ill he is and these are professional opinions.
