Yesterday we went to Iford Manor for a cream tea. The Wisteria was an unexpected bonus.
On the way, the bluebell woods - better than last week.
This is the resident cat in the Manor. It didn't even bother to look up. Seen it all before by the look of it.
I imagine that people go more for the cream teas and Wisteria, than they do for the cat.
ReplyDeleteI think you imagine right.
DeleteI am glad i Googled cream tea, it is not was i thought at the begining.
ReplyDeleteI hope you were not thinking of something bad. Cream Teas are always good, but some better than others.
DeleteI was thinking only good, but different.
DeleteCreamy?
DeleteI think that's the mankiest cat that I've ever seen !!!!! Iford Manor looks lovely in the Spring sunshine. Cro is right ..... the cream teas and wisteria are more inticing than the pussy !!!!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteIt is a very old pussy. You must make allowance for the bent whiskers and hope that others do the same for you one day.
DeleteI like the cat.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteSorry ..... I do like cats ..... I hope I'm forgiven !! XXXX
DeleteNothing to forgive.
DeleteI like the bluebells and the wisteria...
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteVery nice contrast, the blue door with the lilac-coloured Wisteria.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
Thank God.
DeleteIve always wanted wisteria
ReplyDeleteAlas
Instead you got hysteria, and an old pussy with bent whiskers.
DeleteKen dodd eat your heart out
DeleteMissus!
DeleteAs soon as I read your post and admired the bluebells, I showed the post to my bestie. She's buying a house in the country side. We searched the web for a variant to plant in an area on the home place. We shall see this fall.
ReplyDeleteDepending on where you live you will be offered Spanish bluebells. They are very hardy and are taking over from our fragile natives.
