Latest acquisition/s

I have just bought this and several other 18th century prints relating to my (and Cro's) old home ground - the Farnham area including Waverly Abbey. (I have got one of Willaim Cobbett's birthplace - now the pub - if you are interested, Cro.

This print is the only one relating to Mother Ludlam's Hole that I know of. and I have seen it before, but only online.

I am going to frame everything and plaster my walls with them in honour of Colin Allinson.

I am as chuffed as fuck.

  1. Some time back I posted a piece about 'The Cobbett' pub. I remember it with great affection.

    I like the cave print.

    1. I remember, that's why I mentioned it. There is also an early print of Castle Street which I am tempted by.

    1. No. I don't have money to buy food or go to the pub either.

  3. Did you colour in the two coats?

    1. No, I don't know when they were tinted - in fact I don't know when any of them were tinted. Possibly before being bound into a book.
