Would you do this to your wife in public?

It says something, but I don't know what it said.

  2. One of my favorite signs from the Women's March on DC was "Melania, if you need help...blink twice!" And did you see how he walked off and left her in the dust when they first arrived at the White House on inauguration day? And to top it all off....she's staying in New York with their son instead living with Trump in the White House. That's never happened before. I don't blame her, though. Donald Trump is a disgusting pig. When he was caught on tape making the "Grab em by the pussy....you can do anything" remarks, she was pregnant with Barron at the time. What kind of man treats his wife that way?! He's a disgrace.

    1. Jennifer, that broke my heart when he left her on the other side of the car. He was already shaking the President's hand! I felt so sorry for her. He's such a pig!
Thanks for sharing this, Tom. Makes me dislike him even more...which I didn't think was possible!

    2. I felt so sorry for her, too. She looked so sad.

    3. No, don't feel sorry for her, she knew what she was getting into when she married him. She was after his money, and is prepared to put up with anything to hang on to it. I know she's supposed to be very intelligent,(or maybe she's reinvented herself) but money is still the biggest draw. What else has the revolting pig got to offer - he's not attractive. She's probably on the way out, and he's got his eye on a younger model.

  3. She must have an iron clad and lucrative pre-nup.

    1. She is a piece of shit just like her husband. She sold herself to the devil and she has to deal with that. I think she's trying to protect the young one, but you know what? You, me, would have left with no money to make sure our child/ren were safe.

    2. I know we did that, Carol. I don't know enough about her to have much opinion, but I do think Barron annoys the crap out of his dad, and Melania is the shield.

    3. Carole S,
First, I'll preface this by saying, I didn't vote for him; he makes me cringe. However.....

I'm so sick of women who "ostensibly" support other women tear down someone you don't know. Quit trying to project your issues onto her. You have no more idea than I do what she feels and why she's with him.

Not all women who are with someone WE don't like are there for the "money". Next you'll launch into some vile dissection of their minor son to try and make your point. I see no harsher judge of women than other women. True "feminists" you guys are...

We get it: You don't like him. Stick to his behavior/policies to make your point and leave the family alone.

  4. If she doesn't obey, he will deport her. She might have gotten too old for him.

  5. Lots more developments today, resulting from those papers the new President has been signing. He likes to show the large signature to the cameras.

Protests underway at airports. My elected representatives' voice mail boxes are full, but it is still possible to email them.

Then there's the Russian treason arrests story still developing.

All very scary, one week into the new administration. At least the gag orders on various Federal agencies' staffs have been reversed, after lots of protests.

    1. I have absolutely no sympathy or empathy or any care at all for her. She was a grown woman when she married him by choice. Check out the video when she continues the f***ing birther shit about Obama

There is a stay in the Muslim ban tonight!
      He is not our America.

    2. Yes! I just saw that a federal judge blocked the ban! Finally a tiny bit of good news.

    3. Only half blocked the ban. There are lots of people who arrived with valid visas now trapped in airports.

    4. They will probably be sent to the detention centres that Trump has been promising to use now.

    5. The stay is not being enforced.

  7. His new found power may well tip him over the edge. I predict him being 'sectioned' before too long (probably under the guise of illness).

  8. You can impose whatever story you like on this to fit your own view but I find it this wink if you need help business patronising to Melania who can look after herself. I bet they had better sex that night than the feminist self-righteous pussies ever had.

    2. He appears to say just one word, and from the shape of his lips when he says it, it looks as though it could be, 'stupid'.

    3. His lips stick out no matter what he's saying.

    4. Rachel, don't you just love how everyone is an expert on their relationship, their son, the state of his psyche?

No harsher critic of women than other women. I've heard her called every vile name, her motives trashed, criticized because she posed nude etc. And in the next breath women are marching for their rights and "respect". I the only women who think exactly as they do are entitled to respect. We appear to be back to the days when women castigated Clarence Thomas about a pubic hair on a coke can but NOW gave Bill a pass when he had sex (that wasn't "sex") with an intern in the White House. Can we say hypocritical?

  9. I know that the motives for her marrying may not have been out of love, and I know that she may not be the brightest button in the box (even though she can read Shakespeare!) but I still cannot watch that clip without feeling some sympathy for her.

Once you think you have got everything you have wanted out of life by marriage, the rest of your life can be very lonely indeed, even if you are not married to a despotic President. I am sure that at least a few of you know all about this.

When I first saw the film of Mussolini's mistress hanging upside down from a lampost in Italy, I felt sorry for her too. I felt sorry for Eva Braun and I felt sorry for Madame Ceauscescu. I felt sorry for Marie Antoinette and I felt sorry for Mrs Mosely. I felt sorry for Margaret Thatcher when she left Downing Street in tears.

I just cannot help but feel sorry for these people, nomatter how I feel about them when everything is going their way. Maybe it is because I was brought up as a Christian, or at least with Christian values?

  10. Whatever her motives were for marrying him, no-one deserves to be scared like that .... she looks really frightened and humiliated. XXXX

  11. I've made several bad decisions in my life and I am grateful that when they exploded in my face there were some who still felt sorry for me, even if they could have said, "I told you so". I do feel sorry for Melania Trump. What will she ever think of to say to Prince Charles? Fortunately, we can count on the Queen to put her at ease - if the state visit goes through.

    1. It will almost certainly be the most boring discussion you will never be party to.

  12. Well, there is no debate, her face shows an inner turmoil and the fact that she can't hide it speaks of two things: either her defence is battered by frequent attacks like this one or this was the first...
What we can learn here is to be careful how we put our words, just like you said, Tom. I've caused darkened eyes and sad face with stupid ( me ) comments. What we say and do behind closed doors follows like a burden, when we leave home. We can learn, hope and put in an effort that we will never, ever cause a face like that, on any person ! It's worth it.
