When did you last call me Godfather?

It has been pointed out by more than one person how much like a mafia party this Boxing Day photo looks.

    1. I didn't know you had no face!
      Great photo, though.

    2. I daren't show it. Nothing to do with security, it's just vanity.

    3. "Vanity"? I am sure you'd look much better WITH a face. Even if it is yours.

    4. Like egocentricity - people who get nervous speaking in public are thinking of themselves constantly.

    1. I've got a bone to pick with him. I was held down while he covered me in glitter dust. I will still be finding bits of glitter in years to come.

  4. It would be a rare blonde hair, blue and green eyes mafia family.

It's a lovely photo; you have a pretty and handsome family!

  8. Did you make anyone an offer they couldn't refuse?

    1. I don't make offers these days, as a refusal often offends.

  9. I found the inner meaning of "an expressionless face".
Otherwise, this looks like a nice family gathering. We are not half that amount of people so Boxing Day, whatever I can compare that with, is nowadays a very quiet gathering. Is that the day after Christmas day 25? That blank face gives me the creeps, please post one with your face back on, I would find it comforting since the faceless horrors of the world are quite enough!!! Happy New Year, Tom!!!

    1. 26th. Maybe you don't know about 'Boxing Day'. It's a quaint old English custome when all the tradesmen would know at the back door the day after Christmas, and expect you to put money in a box they took with them, in order to get good service the following day. Some tradesmen still did it when I was a kid in a rich area.

    3. They still get it here although they dont have to knock on the door.

    4. Did I say 'know'? My father used to pretend to be out, but not very well. The dustmen would leave rubbish strewn down athe drive for weeks afterwards. I felt ashamed...

  10. All in all, Boxing Day doesn't seem to be a holiday I will wote for in our neighbourhood......
Thank you for this memorable information!!
