Purveyor of Bollocks to the Crowned Heads of Europe
The news across the pond is full of dire predictions of how Brexit will cause a global recession and all doom and gloom if it passes, or doesn't pass, or is voted yay or nay, I don't even know how it is done there. Just hope it goes the right way.
The markets here lost £200 billion overnight. From being in a state of uncertainty, they have gone into a state of ultra uncertainty, and that state will persist for months.
Oh dear, Tom, how I wish you had been right !
Well, even Nigel Farage was making this prediction last night. I feel very cold and left-out this morning.
Farage was quoted as having said all this came to pass 'without one bullet being fired'. That's not exactly true.
It's exactly untrue, isn't it?
With one thing and another I feel as if the world is on the brink of disaster...
ge, mon brave. All will be well.
Bob? Is that you?
I stayed up until the BBC called the vote and while you slept on, visions of European sugarplums filling your dreams.
I lay in bed listening to it all night. My night, not yours.
