    1. Grammar. And the pedants who love to point out others' errors.

    2. Who are you? Fuck it. I knew that anyway.

    3. Well for fucks sake these foreigners don't understand me do they. It was only a fucking joke. I don't want your fucking ex girlfriends explaining fucking grammar to me.

    4. By 'behave', I mean act your fucking age. You are not a 13 year old, even if you behave like one.

    5. Don't worry. You are loved, and not just by P. I am the same as you. I do pretty much the same as you. You are not alone. X

    2. We use FEWER when the noun refers to something that can be counted, like men or peasants. We use LESS when the noun refers to something that cannot be counted, like milk. For example, I want less milk and fewer cookies. We pedants love this stuff!

    3. Thanks Shawn. I would never have said all that - like I say, I don't want to explain jokes to ANYONE.

    4. Thanks Shawn excellent explanation. This fewer/less things has bugged me for years! I consider myself pretty good at " grammar" but this one passed me by at school ( girls' grammar in the late 50s) Tom…I did understand the joke just not the finer points!

  4. Clever and I love it - would rather like a copy on my wall.

  5. A friend once sent me a copy of that as a Christmas card. I still have it.

  6. Ah - by reading your comments it dawned on me who that recommended "Shawn" is - it seems you answer from the bottom up? (Humph - I mean it straight - when I look at it twice, it sounds -- strange -- even my explanation could be misunderstood. I'll light a candle to lit that up.)

    1. My Google translator has blocked me for looking up swearwords in other languages, so I'll need help from Shawn with this one as well.

  7. I want help with making my blog available/followable. Do I use Google+ or what?

    1. It takes time Shawn. Followers do not happen overnight, it takes years. You can write the best blog in the world but it doesn't mean to say people are going to read it, follow it or leave comments. You can take a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

  8. Thank, Rachel, but I'm looking for technical advice. A few people have asked how they can "follow" it and I don't know what to tell them.

    1. Ok. Go to design and add the followers widget. Then it will show on your blog and people can add themselves. I assume you are on blogger.com. There are loads of widgets you can add. Play around. You don't need google+. Take a look at mine.

    2. Yes, a lot of people don't put the follow option on in the design, so you cannot follow them. Go back to the design as Rachel says. Then I will follow!

    3. Rachel, thanks for your help. I've added Followers. I hate google + and am happy to remove it.
