The latest score: One all. Three of the four Norwich chicks have jumped off, meaning that there is now one chick in Bath and one in Norwich. This photo was taken a few days ago.
The one which jumped first (taking a dead pigeon with it - the greedy bastard!) is such a strong flyer, that it returns to the nest to see if there are any other pigeons on offer. I wonder if that counts as extra time?
No, it counts as a successful counter attack down the right wing.
ReplyDeleteA short post. Praise Jesus.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to make up for it.
DeleteJust came back from hot-simmering Munich. Maybe too hot here in Berlin too, but why one for Bath, one for Norwich? Did I miss something?
ReplyDeleteOnly one Peregrine Falcon egg hatched here in Bath, Britta.
DeleteYou really have had a grandstand view.
ReplyDeleteYou could have the same if you went to Norwich's webcam, Weave.
DeleteThe way I see it it is still Norwich 4 Bath 1. Whatever.
ReplyDeleteThere is a high mortality-rate after fledging. The game's not over.
DeleteSorry to everyone else, but I will respond tomorrow to you - this computer has slowed down so much tonight, I cannot be arsed to wait for it to sort itself out. It - like me - needs to be switched off.
