T. Miles, 1956

All these years in Bath, and I have only just noticed this graffiti - T. MILES, 1956.  Second prize goes to  the first person to tell me which street it is in, and first prize goes to T. Miles if he/she owns up to making it.

  1. T Miles must have spent all that time on hands and knees to carve this thing into the Welsh pennant! It looks as though they were spotted by a policeman right at the last minute when finishing off the 6. They spent too long on the first 'T' above, in the wrong place - that must have been the problem.

  3. I will hazard a guess that the stone setts are in either The Beazer Maze, The Royal Crescent or The Circus. If either of these are correct please send prize to the old gent in France.

  5. They must have been grovelling on the ground for an age scraping away, unnoticed by any passing bobbies on the beat.

    1. Exactly. And those were the days when bobbies DID actually wander around on their own.

    1. Yes - you win, Sol. Westgate Street it is. All I have to do now is think of a prize for you. and you have to send me your address so I can send it. I'll warn you though, I am an axe-murdering stalker.

    1. I like her (and daughter's) hot sauce, but that is as far as my experience has gone with her so far.
