Prize-winning pumpkin

I had to show you this pumpkin carved by a mother and daughter for the pub last night, and I'm sorry that the crappy photo doesn't do it justice - the edges are actually quite sharp.  Isn't it amazing?

  1. A cracking effort....perhaps pumpkin carving will catch on here.......in my mind THAT would be a good thing

  4. WONDERFUL! We do have many good carvers in our area but that one would beat them all. They did save the innards for pie I hope?

    1. Yes. I used a circular tank-cutter on an electric drill to make mine.

  7. Absolutely brilliant. It makes our two smiley faced pumpkins seem very ordinary, but they did cheer up my birthday.

    1. So, you were born on October 31st? As a result of a trick or treat going badly wrong at one house?
